A subjective rating of the day’s weather
A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of zero to 10.
Today’s Weather: 5/10
A mediocre day as clouds increase and temperatures are chilly.
- Today: Increasing clouds. Highs: 45 to 50.
- Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Lows: 35 to 40.
- Tomorrow: Rain develops, breezy. Highs: Near 50.
We’ve seen less than an inch of rain over the past 55 days but a soaking is finally on the way. Today is dry but a juicy storm comes through tomorrow and tomorrow night, delivering much-needed precipitation. We’ll dry out Wednesday and stay rain-free through Thanksgiving. Late Friday into early Saturday, there’s a chance of a second wave of rainfall.
Today’s Weather (Monday):
After a lovely, sun-filled Sunday, clouds increase and it’s also a good 10 degrees cooler. Highs struggle to reach 50 degrees. Winds are from the north around 10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High
Skies are mostly cloudy and it’s rather chilly. Lows range from the mid-30s to around 40 (downtown). Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow’s Weather (Tuesday):
We awaken to overcast skies and rain develops before long. It may be cold enough (in the 30s) for the rain to very briefly mix with sleet in our colder areas. The rain increases in intensity during the afternoon when highs struggle to reach 50. It’s breezy with winds from the east at 10 to 20 mph with some gusts up to 30 mph during the afternoon. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow Night’s Weather:
Rain may be heavy during the evening (plan for a slow commute) before tapering off after midnight. Storm totals between 1 and 2 inches should be widespread. Gusty winds from the southeast shift to out of the west late night, sometimes topping 30 mph. Low temperatures are in the 40s. Confidence: Medium-High
Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day:
We’ll have pretty good looking weather for Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day. Both days are dry with highs mostly from 50 to 55. Wednesday probably features more cloud cover and is on the windier side compared to Thanksgiving. Both Wednesday and Thursday nights are chilly with lows in the 30s. Confidence: Medium-High
Clouds may increase some as a storm system develops to our south. It’s unclear whether this storm will come far enough north to bring us rain or remain to our southeast. If we did get rain, it would probably fall mostly Friday night. Highs are in the low 50s Friday with lows near 40 Friday night. Confidence: Low-Medium
There’s a slight chance of rain early Saturday, otherwise it should be a dry and seasonably chilly weekend. Highs both days are pretty close to 50, with lows in the 30s. Confidence: Medium
