FBI Arrests Actor Nolan Freeman for Capitol Attack Involvement

The FBI has made an arrest in connection to the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Actor Nolan Freeman, known for his roles in NCIS and Shameless, was apprehended in Carson City, Nevada, on March 19. Surveillance footage implicated Freeman in the incident, allegedly showing him crawling through a broken window to enter the Capitol while the certification of the 2020 election was taking place.

FBI Investigation Uncovers Actor’s Travel Details

The investigation leading to Freeman’s arrest included a grand jury subpoena of airline records related to the events of January 6. The records indicated that Freeman flew from Sacramento to Washington D.C. on January 4, 2021, and returned to Nevada on January 8. According to the FBI, phone records placed Freeman’s mobile device inside the Capitol building during the insurrection. The FBI Statement of Fact reported that Freeman spent approximately 26 minutes inside the Capitol and was observed near the Upper House Door.
