Low-income New Yorkers now have the opportunity to benefit from rebates for energy efficiency upgrades through the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program.
Program Details
Under the Inflation Reduction Act, New Yorkers can access $39.6 million in rebates to support energy efficiency and electrification upgrades, aligning with the state’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act goals.
Benefits
This initiative not only reduces energy costs but also contributes to a cleaner environment by transitioning away from fossil fuels, ultimately saving households money in the long run.
