Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 English Dub to Air on Adult Swim’s Toonami

The highly anticipated Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS (Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen) Part 2 anime will finally be available with an English dub. The English dub will premiere on January 6 at 12:00 a.m. EST on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. In addition, Crunchyroll will start streaming the English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German dubs on January 7 at 12:00 p.m. EST in various regions.

Anime Finale and Theme Song

The anime’s finale premiered on November 4 on the NHK General channel. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the anime, and it was an 85-minute extravaganza. The theme song for the final season is titled “Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa…. Niman-nen ato no Kimi e,” performed by Linked Horizon.

Episode Format and Theme Songs

The Final Season is divided into two parts, with parts 1 and 2 also available as single-episode streams in Japan. These episodes have their own unique opening and ending themes. The opening theme, “Saigo no Kyojin,” is performed by Linked Horizon, while the ending theme, “Itterasshai,” is performed by Ai Higuchi.

The first part aired as a one-hour special on March 3 under the title Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the anime, and Toonami aired it on September 9. The second part, the upcoming release, will air on Adult Swim’s Toonami on January 6. The theme song for this part is “Under the Tree,” performed by SIM.

The Attack on Titan The Final Season anime premiered on NHK in December 2020 and ran for 16 episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll both streamed the anime with English subtitles, and Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block began airing the anime in January 2021. Funimation also released an English dub of the anime in the same month.
