FBI Arrests Actor Nolan Freeman for Capitol Attack

The arrest of actor Nolan Freeman by the FBI has made headlines due to his alleged involvement in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Known for his roles in NCIS and Shameless, Freeman was apprehended on March 19 in Carson City, Nevada. The arrest came after surveillance footage indicated that Freeman had unlawfully entered the Capitol building by crawling through a shattered window while the certification of the 2020 election was in progress.

Investigation and Travel Details

Following an extensive investigation that included a grand jury subpoena of airline records related to the January 6 attack, it was discovered that Freeman had traveled from Sacramento to Washington D.C. on January 4, 2021. He then returned to Nevada on January 8. The FBI further revealed that Freeman’s mobile phone records placed him inside the Capitol building during the insurrection. According to the FBI Statement of Fact, Freeman spent approximately 26 minutes inside the Capitol and was observed near the Upper House Door.
