Breaking News: Kimberlee Singler Arrested in the United Kingdom
Kimberlee Singler, the Colorado Springs mother accused of killing two of her children earlier this month, has been apprehended.
The Colorado Springs Police Department reported that Singler was arrested in the United Kingdom without incident. While no additional information or photos have been released, officials have promised to provide more details during an upcoming press conference.
The Tragic Incident
On December 19, the alleged murders of Singler’s 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, as well as the attempted murder of her 11-year-old daughter, took place in Colorado Springs. Initially, the police received a false report of a burglary, leading them to Singler’s residence in the 5300 block of Palomino Ranch Point.
Singler and her 11-year-old daughter were both treated at home on the same day. However, Singler was last seen on December 23, and an arrest warrant was issued on December 26. Police have stated that she likely fled the Colorado Springs area.
Charges and Bond
Singler currently faces a range of serious charges, including two counts of Murder in the First Degree, one count of Criminal Attempt – Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Child Abuse, and one count of Assault in the First Degree. The court has set her bond at $10 million.
