Crunchyroll, in partnership with Aniplex, is thrilled to announce the long-awaited debut of the anime adaptation of the sensational Korean manhwa, Solo Leveling. Fans around the world can mark their calendars for January 6, 2024, when the anime will premiere globally on Crunchyroll.

About Solo Leveling

CrunchyrollSolo Leveling, originally a best-selling Korean web novel by Chugong, has taken the world by storm. Adapted into a webtoon and manhwa in 2018, with stunning illustrations by DUBU, this captivating series explores a world where a mysterious gate appeared, connecting our reality with another dimension. Individuals known as “hunters” with extraordinary powers emerged, venturing into dungeons within the gates to earn a living. Sung Jinwoo, the weakest hunter, embarks on a dangerous quest that sets him apart as the sole individual capable of leveling up.

Cast and Crew of the Series

The highly anticipated Solo Leveling anime is brought to life by the renowned A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online) and features motion graphics by Production I.G (Attack on Titan). Under the direction of Shunsuke Nakashige (Sword Art Online), the series promises an immersive experience. The extraordinary music is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan) and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, complemented by character design from Tomoko Sudo and monster design by Hirotaka Tokuda.

Voice Cast

Prepare to be captivated by the exceptional voice acting talents in both the Japanese and English dubs of Solo Leveling. The Japanese voice cast includes Taito Ban as Sung Jinwoo, Genta Nakamura as Yoo Jinho, Haruna Mikawa as Sung Jinah, Reina Ueda as Cha Hae-in, Daisuke Hirakawa as Choi Jong-in, Hiroki Touchi as Baek Yoonho, Banjo Ginga as Go Gunhee, and Makoto Furukawa as Woo Jinchul.

The English dub brings the characters to life with Aleks Le as Sung Jinwoo, Justin Briner as Yoo Jinho, Rebecca Wang as Sung Jinah, Michelle Rojas as Cha Hae-in, Ian Sinclair as Choi Jong-in, Christopher R. Sabat as Baek Yoonho, Kent Williams as Go Gunhee, and SungWon Cho as Woo Jinchul.
