When embarking on the documentary “The Sixth,” filmmakers Andrea Nix Fine and Sean Fine had a different vision in mind. Initially, they partnered with A24 to document the peaceful transfer of presidential power.
A Turn of Events
However, on January 6, 2021, everything changed. As Congress gathered to certify the 2020 election results, chaos ensued. The Fines, based in Washington D.C., watched in disbelief as reports of escalating unrest flooded in from their camera crew on the National Mall.
