Republican PAC Targets Trump Supporters on Fox News

A Republican political action committee is taking a bold approach by airing a new ad on Fox News, targeting former President Donald Trump‘s loyal supporters. The ad features Trump’s own words as he encouraged the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The ad unequivocally states, “Trump did this. He’ll do it again. He can never be president again,” while showcasing footage of the Capitol attack. Additionally, the ad includes clips of prominent figures like Mitch McConnell and Ted Cruz holding Trump accountable for the events of that day.

NEW AD: Trump told them to fight. He’s responsible for January 6. And he can never be president again.

PAC’s Message During Fox News Town Halls

The PAC plans to air the ad during town hall events featuring Republican presidential candidates Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and even Trump himself on Fox News. Gunner Ramer, the PAC’s political director, emphasized Trump’s central role in the events of January 6.

Ramer stated in a press release, “He continues to deny responsibility and pushes conspiracy theories about what took place. We must remind voters of his contempt for the fundamental tenets of American democracy.” The PAC aims to reach persuadable Republicans who may be influenced by Trump’s involvement in the attack.
