Palm Beach, Florida – Donald Trump‘s Reaction to Steve Bannon’s Prison Order

Former President Donald Trump expressed his anger when his close ally and ex-advisor Steve Bannon was instructed by a judge to report to prison.

Trump’s Reaction

Trump took to Truth Social to express his outrage at the judge’s ruling, labeling it a “total and complete American tragedy.” He also demanded that members of the disbanded House January 6 Committee face legal repercussions.

“It has been irrefutably proven that it was the Unselects who committed actual crimes when they deleted and destroyed all material evidence, in a pathetic attempt to protect Crazy Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats from the TRUTH – THAT I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG,” Trump falsely asserted.

“The unAmerican Weaponization of our Law Enforcement has reached levels of Illegality never thought possible before,” he added.

“INDICT THE UNSELECT J6 COMMITTEE FOR ILLEGALLY DELETING AND DESTROYING ALL OF THEIR ‘FINDINGS!’

Bannon’s Conviction

In July 2022, Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena to testify before the committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riots.

Trump and his Republican allies have continuously claimed, without evidence, that the committee withheld exculpatory information, an assertion that the committee’s former chair Bennie Johnson has refuted.
