Following the recent discovery of human body parts in a park on Long Island, authorities have found more remains and made at least one arrest in connection to the case.

Possible Motive in the Case

While details about the suspect and charges remain undisclosed, sources suggest that investigators are exploring a possible love triangle as the motive behind the incident. Allegedly, the suspect dismembered his girlfriend and the man he suspected she was involved with.

The Suffolk County Police Department initiated an investigation after a student discovered a “severed left arm” at Southards Pond Park. Subsequently, additional body parts were found in different locations, including a home in Amityville, wooded area in West Babylon, and Bethpage State Park.

Further Discoveries and Victim Identification

Additional human remains were found in Farmingdale and West Babylon. One of the victims, a 59-year-old woman, has been identified, while the other victim, a 53-year-old man, has been tentatively identified. Both individuals were last known to reside in Yonkers.
