Men’s Fashion Week A/W 2024: What to Expect
Pitti Uomo (9 – 12 January 2024)
The fashion calendar for the new year is off to a fast start with Men’s Fashion Week A/W 2024 kicking off on January 9th with the 105th edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence. This iconic menswear fair, held twice-yearly, will feature a packed schedule of events. Among the highlights are guest designers Magliano and S.S. Daley. Magliano, based in Bologna, draws inspiration from the city’s rich history of protest and subculture, while S.S. Daley explores Britain’s class system through theatrical collections. Other notable shows include Todd Sydner’s collection and Achilles Ion Gabriel’s debut fashion collection.
Milan Fashion Week Men’s (16 – 20 June 2023)
Milan Fashion Week Men’s will begin with a debut from Sabato De Sarno, presenting his first menswear collection for Gucci. Expect to see more of De Sarno’s signature oxblood-red hue and luxurious takes on wardrobe classics. The show will take place on January 16th, followed by Stone Island’s first-ever runway show. The rest of the calendar promises an array of Milanese fashion, with Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Emporio and Giorgio Armani, and Zegna showcasing their latest collections. Jonathan Anderson will also present his eponymous menswear line in Milan.
Paris Fashion Week Men’s (16 – 20 June 2023)
Pharrell Williams will be a highlight of Paris Fashion Week Men’s as he presents his second menswear show for Louis Vuitton. After his spectacular debut last year, all eyes will be on Williams as he takes the stage on January 18th. Other notable shows include Givenchy’s first collection after Matthew M Williams’ departure, Grace Wales Bonner’s show under her eponymous label, and Rick Owens’ unique brand of showmanship. The schedule also features established names like Paul Smith, Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, Dries Van Noten, Valentino, and Hermès, as well as rising designers such as Botter, Kiko Kostadinov, and Winnie.
