More than 6,000 people have been forced to evacuate Vovchansk, Ukraine, in the Kharkiv region following a new Russian offensive. The residents, fearing for their lives, are fleeing the city located just five miles from the Russian border.

The recent wave of displaced individuals and surrounding settlements in Vovchansk brings back memories of the invasion in February 2022. However, residents describe this Russian attack as even more severe than the previous incursion.
