The SCAD jewelry trunk show will be open to the public at Poetter Hall, located at 342 Bull St. Guests can explore custom creations crafted by talented jewelers and metalsmiths from SCAD’s renowned jewelry design program, the largest of its kind in the U.S. From May 16 to May 17, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., visitors can peruse and purchase unique adornments, supporting Savannah’s vibrant creative community while acquiring a modern heirloom to cherish.
### Honoring Industry Leaders: Aurora James and SCAD Alums
On May 17 at the historic Trustees Theater, SCAD will pay tribute to Aurora James, the visionary behind luxury accessories brand Brother Vellies. Recognized for her advocacy of global cultural traditions and artisan communities, James will receive the prestigious André Leon Talley Award. Additionally, SCAD alums An Le and Julian Robaire will be honored with the SCAD45 Award for their exceptional creativity and contributions to the art world.
